As a Scout Group each section maintains records of their young people and any on the waiting list. This includes names, addresses, dates of birth and contact numbers.

The Scout Association is classed as a ‘not for profit’ organisation and Groups are exempt from recognition under the 1998 Data Protection Act. More details can be found on this factsheet.
